Rehearsals & Commitment

Being a Company dancer is both exciting and rewarding.

In addition to weekly technique classes, dancers attend scheduled rehearsals where they learn choreography, improve performance quality, and strengthen teamwork.

Company dancers are expected to:

  1. Attend required classes.

  2. Arrive prepared and on time.

  3. Practice outside of rehearsals.

  4. Demonstrate positive sportsmanship.

  5. Support teammates.

  6. Represent ABC Dance Company with professionalism and respect.

While the commitment is greater than our Recreational Program, the rewards extend far beyond the dance floor.

Throughout the season, Company dancers have opportunities to perform and compete in a variety of exciting events.

Regional Competitions

Students perform routines before professional judges while receiving valuable feedback that helps them continue developing as performers.

National Competitions

Each summer, our Company travels to National Competitions where dancers celebrate a season of hard work while creating unforgettable memories with their teammates.

Dance Conventions

Company dancers learn from nationally recognized choreographers and industry professionals through workshops and master classes designed to broaden their training and inspire artistic growth.

Annual Recital

Every Company dancer also performs in ABC Dance Company's annual recital, celebrating the accomplishments of the entire season with family and friends.

Can Company dancers still participate in school activities?

How old does my child have to be?
